Excellent Stay with Fine Views
lovely view high standard breakfast friendly service
The room was significantly bigger than many rooms I have stayed in. The view was lovely with a full vista of the North Bay, waking up to that on a bright morning was a joy. Breakfasts were of an high standard, I particularly enjoyed the bacon. The service was quick, friendly and efficient.
The bathroom size was rather small compared to the room , and it looked a little tired.

Breakfast is included in the price and offers varied choices. Full English breakfast and scrambled eggs are available , along with ample toast with jam. Coffee and tea are also available.

ideal location warm welcome
The hotel location is ideal. It's near both beaches. it took only ten minutes to walk to the castle. the breakfast was also good. the fried breakfast was a great start to the day. ken gave me a warm welcome. the twins serving breakfast were friendly.
the bathroom was slightly small compared to the room.

lovely sea view stay
clean bedroom comfortable bed lovely view high standard breakfast
I really liked the impeccably clean bedrooms, and the beds were comfortable. we booked the double room with sea view, and it really delivered. the view was lovely, with an uninterrupted view of the north bay. Waking up to that was such a joy. breakfasts were of an high standard. The bacon was the best i've had in a long time.
The bathroom size was a little small. It felt a bit cramped compared to the room. i noticed a slight cooking smell in the hallways.

The hotel provides a fridge in the lounge, allowing guests to store their own drinks. This also includes access to an ice machine and a selection of glasses. parking permits are available, which saved a fortune. I found a space practically in front of the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially ken. he provided excellent advice on finding a parking space. the breakfast service was prompt. the service was generally quick and efficient. I was pleased.

The location is convenient because it is on the cliff top overlooking the north bay. It is a short walk from key attractions. the hotel is located near the castle, the harbor, and the town center. It's all so close.

sea views and superb service!
parking permit english breakfast lounge fridge
the street parking permit saved me a ton of money, and i always found a spot right near the hotel. the full english breakfast was consistently delicious every morning. I'm even buying the same coffee for home! i loved being able to keep my drinks cold in the lounge fridge, and glasses were available for use.
the bathroom was a bit small compared to the room, but it was manageable.

Adequate Stay with Some Drawbacks
small bathroom faded curtains
I found the bathroom to be quite small relative to the room size. I expected more space. The decor was generally worn, especially the curtains. They were quite old and faded. The lack of on-site bar facilities was also a disappointment, especially given that a bar was advertised.

convenient parking easy walk
I appreciated the convenient on-street parking with a provided permit.. it was a big plus. the walk to the castle and beaches was really easy. The location is definitely a highlight.
i noticed a slightly strong smell of cooking at times.
